After finishing my AMIE what can i do??

After passing Section A and B of the Institution Examination you will become Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers (I).Now you can designate yourself as a “ Chartered Engineer”.



You may appear in GATE Examinations (conducted on second Sunday in February, notification in Times of India in October) for M.E./M.Tech. courses.

• After passing AMIE Examinations you may appear postgraduate Diploma examinations conducted by The Institution of Engineers (India), Kolkata. Presently these Examinations for Postgraduate Diploma are scheduled at five centres, namely, Kolkata , Chennai , Nagpur, Delhi, and Hyderabad. These examinations are conducted in April and October

• You may now work as a Consultant in respective engineering field
• You may sit in various competitive examinations viz. IES, IAS , MBA, and many more
• You may get promotions in many Government /Private/Public sector departments
• You may apply for superior posts.
